"Indeed I am — shrubs are nice and not at all obtrusive, and if our homeowners association money must go to one form of plant life, I sincerely believe it should be shrubs," Carol said to a cascade of head nods. Maggie filled her lungs with a new supply of stale air in the makeshift meeting room and argued, once more, for the trees.
